Florian Kraulich

Doctoral Researcher

Bio

I am a trained meteorologist with a focus on climate. During my studies, I spent semesters abroad on Svalbard (Norway) and in Lisbon (Portugal), which deepened my interest in climate dynamics, oceanography, and Arctic amplification. In my free time, I enjoy running, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

Research Interests

My research focuses on attributing anthropogenic forcings to heat extremes. In particular, I aim to quantify the effects of aerosols on heatwaves.
