Bio

I studied Geography at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and recently completed my master’s degree in Earth System Data Science and Remote Sensing at Leipzig University. For my thesis, I investigated the meteorological conditions leading to extreme variable renewable energy shortage events in Germany. Building on this work, I am now eager to continue researching this topic in greater depth.

Research Interests

My research interests lie at the intersection of climate science and energy modelling. I am particularly interested in how compound climate events affect energy systems and the challenges this poses for future energy supply.
